Coach George McKnight
Founder & President of our Jedi organization. He created this team over 13 years ago. He has coached & mentored hundreds of boys, along with his two sons, through football & church. Coach McKnight has a pedigree of several championships & was the 2019 12U champion of the Lewisville football association. He is an expert at understanding & providing a true vision of the game. He is now a Consultant to the coaches on all levels.
Coach Edward Cherry Jr - 12U
Vice president of the Jedi organization. He has been with the Jedi for over 8 years. Coach Cherry has coached as the 4U & 6U flag head coach, the 8U & 10U tackle head coach, and is now the 12U tackle head coach. Coach Cherry teaches & mentors the boys, along with his son, with a simple phrase, "Hard work pays off." He is an expert at teaching the fundamentals of the game & inspiring & motivating the players to be better on & off the field.
Coach Donald Robertson - 10U
10U tackle head coach. He has been with the Jedi organization for over 8 years. Coach Robertson started as the 4U & 6U flag assistant coach, the 6U flag head coach, 8U tackle assistant coach. Coach Robertson brings his expertise of defense, knowledge of the game & rules, & his overall passion for football.
Coach Christopher Glenn Sr - 10U
Coach Glenn is entering his fourth season coaching with the Jedi, and has been coaching football for over 14 years. He played 4 years in college, and a year of arena football where he was named defensive player of the year holding the single season sack record and TFL. Coach Glenn brings a plethora of knowledge as he has coached at all levels of the game, and was named Coach of the a year in 2010 by the Texas Select Football League. Coach Glenn has a passion for the game, but and even stronger passion for the teaching the life lessons associated with the game.
Coach Fernando Lee - 12U
12U defense assistant coach.
Coach Abel Cobos Jr - 10U
10U tackle assistant coach.
Coach Desrick Shelton - 10U
10U Assistant Coach. He has been with the Jedi organization for over 3 years. Coach D has coached several youth sports ranging from football, basketball, T-ball, and soccer. He brings a wealth knowledge, passion, and commitment to helping mold, teach, and mentor young men. He is excited to be apart of the Jedi organization and loves to play golf, basketball, and workout. A fan of all sports! Sic'em Bears!
